The Victron Multiplus-II 48V 8000VA 110+100A Inverter is one of the most advanced devices used in hybrid self-consumption systems with batteries and with full performance guarantees. Like the rest of the range’s inverter chargers, Multiplus-II has electrical certifications from different countries that enable it to be used as an energy storage system connected to the electricity grid (ESS). Likewise, it also incorporates the functionalities of Victron PowerControl and PowerAssist.
This inverter can be used in both grid-connected and off-grid photovoltaic systems, and is compatible with both solar charge controllers and grid-connected inverters. It is characterized by offering up to 8000VA of output power from the inverter itself, although thanks to the PowerAssist function it can supply more output power by adding energy from the alternating current input as well as from the batteries so as not to overload the external network input. It can work with 48V batteries and has an internal 110A 48V battery charger.
In addition, it is capable of offering uninterrupted power output thanks to its function as a UPS, since switching is very fast so that critical consumption is not affected. Finally, it should be noted that it cannot be used on a three-phase network by installing a unit for each phase, nor can it work in parallel within the phases themselves.

The MultiPlus-II inverter can work under any common energy storage topology. Optionally, a current sensor is offered to be able to limit the alternating current input according to our needs, since the transfer and charging power of the MultiPlus-II can be excessive for the current available. The most common application of this type of inverter is the following:

By including the Victron ColorControl Panel or any complement such as the Cerbo GX or Venus GX, you will have access to the VRM portal to have access to the monitoring and configuration of the system from any Internet access terminal. Alarms can also be received by email.
Inverter Compatibility Victron Multiplus-II 48V 8000VA 110+100A
Multiplus-II can work with any 48V battery on the market. Additionally, the inverter can be configured to charge any lead or lithium battery with fully configurable charging algorithms.
It is strongly recommended to use a Victron brand MPPT charge controller. In this way, in the ColorControl panel or monitoring system that we have, to have the photovoltaic production of the system in detail.
If the photovoltaic inverter is used as a solar generator, it is recommended to use Fronius products, although it is also compatible with other well-known brands in the industry, such as Kostal.
In the ColorControl and VRM portals, we can also monitor the production of photovoltaic inverters without any problem. There is also compatibility with more manufacturers, such as Schneider; the compatibility table is available on the Victron website, which is updated regularly.
